What is THC-JD? Another rare but natural occurring cannabinoid is Tetrahydrocannabioctyl (THCjd). The 3 “major” cannabinoids are CBD, CBG, and THC which have 5-carbon sidechains. However, THCjd has 8-carbon sidechains which makes it up to 19 times more potent than THC. Also, THCjd is considered to be a “minor” cannabinoid just like THCh; more “minor” cannabinoids are starting to emerge with longer carbon sidechains which creates more potent products.
Is THCjd legal? THCjd is likely legal under federal law, provided it's derived from hemp plants carrying no more than 0.3% THC (by dry weight). Hemp and its compounds are legal on the federal level, thanks to the Agriculture Improvement Act (2018 Farm Bill).
Will THCjd show up in a drug test? Yes, THC-JD will most likely appear on a drug test like almost all THC isomers.
Not much is known about THCjd. It’s a new cannabinoid and there’s very little (if any) scientific evidence showing its effects, benefits, and safety profile. However, from what we do know, it’s a pretty promising cannabinoid and THC isomer capable of causing a pretty strong high. We recommend some caution, though. Make sure you purchase from reputable vendors like the ones posted above.
